All I can say is that the System (God's System) is working for you. I know this time has been difficult and I can feel your happiness through the email. That is wonderful that there is a chance for a relationship. Keep the faith that she will continue to move in the right direction. Remember, though, to be "cautiously optimistic." Hugs to you!
Oh holy cow, I am just thrilled for you. The faith, patience and growth you have shown are remarkable and I am just so happy for you, and for Heather as I am sure she is so relieved to speak to her loving mom. I hope this is the start of a new relationship for you and Heather and that she will keep heading towards recovery and restored health. YIPPEE!!
Work has been holding my time captive. I read your last two posts, and kept meaning to write. I'm thrilled for you. I hate it when my son goes underground. The silence can be agony, and I admire your courage to wait and trust. This sounds encouraging. I am truly very happy for you. May God fill your heart with hope and courage. He is there.
I'm trying to catch up on my blog reading and was so happy to see that you heard from your daughter! I know for me, I sleep a tad better just hearing my son's voice. You sound like you are in a good place and the work you are doing for your own recovery is shining brightly! : )
I don't have your email, so I wanted to say that I am so sorry that your comment didn't make it on my blog. No way did I reject it! No way! I don't know what happened, but please know that I care about you and I want you to be who you are-- a sweet, Christian mom who loves her daughter.
Blog started November 2009 as I *FINALLY* realized/admitted my 19 year-old daughter is addicted to drugs. My friend suggested I write to help myself, here is my dumping ground.

ReplyDeleteCan you feel me smiling from here? I agree with what the women above said, can't add much to their words :)
